Established in 1948 as a traditional western style BBQ restaurant Hutch’s has become a tradition in Pasadena few other houses have been able to accomplish. In 2003 Chef Hillford Phillips brought his homeland expertise in Jamaican cuisine into the menu creating a fusion that has been the talk of the town ever since.  In February 2007 a new partnership was created and with the addition of two new owners/partners MLS star Mauricio Cienfuegos (L.A. Galaxy) and Chef Mario Abrego former executive Chef at the Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Hutch’s has taking on a new direction that is sure to bring back the glory days this restaurant once knew.

Mario has brought the depth of his career adding the flair the menu at Hutch’s required to be among the great ones in a city that has quite a few, it reflects, in addition to the existing wonders, a neo-Latino as well as a California eclectic influence that has already made us the talk of the town.
